It’s that time of year again, time for some Christmas inspiration. I’ve been excited since the second week of October! I’m sneaking in Christmas music here and there hoping nobody will hear it. Like a little kid stashing their Halloween candy in their sock drawer, pulling a piece out here and there hoping no one finds out their secret. I usually get busted by a kid walking into my office or kitchen unexpectedly and giving me a side eye look with a “really mom?”. But one place I won’t be judged – Instagram! My private oasis of no judgement because nobody sees me endlessly scrolling through my favorite Christmas inspiration on Instagram. Just me and my scroll. My beautiful Christmas filled Instagram scroll.
The photos contained in this post do not belong to me – I have linked back to where I found them in these Instagram feeds for photo credit.
There is some major judgement surrounding when it’s appropriate to decorate and listen to Christmas music. I’ve noticed people making a face of disgust at the mere mention of Christmas decor in November like they just smelled some really bad garbage. I say whenever it feels right to you – go for it. Not ready until the week before Christmas so be it. Ready in October, you do you. Why push of the most wonderful time of the year? Perhaps because of all the pressure we put on ourselves to have a perfect holiday season starting at Thanksgiving. And while these Instagram accounts are beautiful and may look like perfection, I urge you to create your perfection. There’s nothing more perfect than your great grandmother’s biscuit recipe or nativity.
Christmas Inspiration on Instagram
While these accounts are gorgeous and offer so many pretty pictures of Christmas decor, I use these accounts more as a way to get me in the Christmas spirit. While thumbing through my scroll why not have a sprinkling of the Christmas season? From Christmas home decor to recipes it just gives me that warm fuzzy Christmas feeling. Instagram is all about pretty pictures and that is why it’s become one of my favorite social media outlets – to share and to follow. Christmas Squares is one of my favorite feeds to have pop up. From beautiful decor to a countdown this feed is a super sweet spot. Just click a pic below to see their feed and follow them! Guaranteed you won’t be let down by this Christmas inspiration feed.
I mean who doesn’t like glitter? Okay, Okay, my husband doesn’t and I know a few other people, but I won’t mention any names. This Christmas Glitter is some I can guarantee you’ll like. One of the fun things about this Christmas inspiration Instagram account is that they also share Christmas themed gifts from different companies. I may or may not have just ordered a Christmas cell phone case. What are you gonna do? They are super cute and why not? I think you’ll agree that Christmas Glitter’s feed is super fun as well as beautiful.
There’s something about a white Christmas
Even the snow haters can’t help but love a white Christmas, right? I sure hope so. I don’t remember too many white Christmases but there have been a few here in eastern Pennsylvania. Nothing pulls us into the quiet tranquility Christmas is supposed to be than a fresh coating of the beautiful white stuff. That is why I love Christmas Love‘s Instagram feed. It is full of snowy outdoor pics as well as a ton of fuzzy sock covered feet propped up in front of a fire with a cup of hot cocoa. So much beautiful inspiration but also a focus on slowing down and enjoying it. I’ve in the past made the mistake of busying myself so much that I almost missed it all. Now my focus and joy comes in the weeks prior to Christmas. Early mornings by a fire reading or listening to music before everyone else gets up. Don’t miss out on what Christmas Love has to offer in their feed – follow by clicking a pic below.
It’s a Holly Jolly Christmas
This beautiful Christmas inspiration Instagram account if full of Christmas home decor. What I love most is all the different types of homes and Christmas decor. My client’s all have different tastes in decor and all their homes are different. I appreciate that this feed recognizes that not all homes do all white or all red decor and offer a wide range of beautiful things to see. I also love that they showcase different rooms in the home. I’ve always wanted to add some Christmas decor to my master bedroom. This year I am so excited to finally do it! Since our master bedroom renovation earlier this year is now complete I can’t wait to add some Christmas touches to cozy it up for the season. I am sure you’ll have a Holly Jolly Christmas full of beautiful home decor when you follow them on Instagram.
My love of Christmas
It’s no secret. I love Christmas. As a kid I loved it, as a parent I super love it. Because for me it’s ultimately about love. When we got a Savior who loves us unconditionally just as we love our children unconditionally. I love serving others and this time of year is all about that. From giving gifts, to sharing recipes and watching the excitement in those little (and not so little anymore) faces during the season of perpetual love. I hope this feed from My Love of Christmas inspires your holiday season full of love.

I’m so excited to start decorating now that Thanksgiving is finally upon us. My family has this strict rule with no Christmas decor before Thanksgiving – which I do love a festive fall themed Thanksgiving dinner. Do you start decorating before or after Thanksgiving?
