Spring Home Decor

Who isn’t itching for Spring right about now?  Here it’s the first day of Spring and there are winter storm warnings in place <<eye roll>> hopefully it blows over, or out to sea, either would be fine with me! The sun isn’t setting before dinner anymore and has me itching to update some accessories in our home.  I love how just a few small spring home decor items can transform your home and your mood.  Add a few spring colors and greenery and it instantly lifts your mood.  Here are a few of my top picks for super simple Spring Home Decor.

Start by putting a great spring wreath on your front door.  Wreaths are a wonderful way to add a splash of spring to your home decor.  My front door is open a lot so the wreath ends up being a part of our interior decor just about as often as it does our exterior.  I love this tulip wreath.  It’s full of muted spring colored tulip blooms.  It comes in several colors but this muted peach is one of my favorites!

I wanted to find a great pillow that brought a little outdoor foliage in without flowers.  These pillow covers are the perfect way to add a little spring home decor to most spaces.  These are pretty neutral and will go with so many color schemes- use in your living room to your bedroom.  Spring home decor is all about just adding a little something new to update your space for the season without going over the top.

This table runner just has me all giddy for bright sunny mornings around the breakfast table with my crew.  When you add a fun bright table runner you don’t have to go crazy with a huge center piece.  Spring home decor is all about simple pops of color, just like what we see outside in nature 🙂

I recently wrote a post about adding plants to your interior design.  I think these hanging plant shelves are so versatile in adding some greenery to your spring home decor.  You can add just one plant on each one or add multiple smaller plants to the shelves.  I love these for in the kitchen with herbs!  There are so many things you can add to these I just love the clean lines and fun tassels that hang off the bottom of each shelf.  Hang them as a pair or break them up for different areas of your home.

When we think spring we think flowers right?  Peonies are one of my favorites.   They scream spring and summer to me.  Grab a few bunches of these and add to small vases around the house, or put several vases of different heights together on one table or shelf.  These are such pretty silk stems they will boost your mood and your spring home decor in no time!

These are just some of the simple things I love to add to bring a pop of spring into the home.  There are so many options, just keep it simple, like I said, as in nature, little pops here and there.  I like to add just a little something to make the space feel like it’s gotten a little fresh update without feeling like it’s a completely different space.  Your spring home decor should take you well into summer.  Not sure these are what you are looking for?  I’m here to help, so just shoot me a quick message and together we can figure out your needs.  Happy Spring!
