Jaime Bassett, Owner & Principle Designer

Welcome to my world of construction and design! My journey began in the commercial construction industry where I spent my childhood accompanying my dad to site meetings and getting to know his employees and subcontractors. Little did I know that I was slowly falling in love with the industry and absorbing valuable information.

After high school, I wasn't sure what path to take until I stumbled upon interior design in a college pamphlet. I took a chance, and during my first semester, I discovered that I was good at something in a school setting. I worked as a kitchen designer while earning my degree, commuting an hour each way for two years.

I jumped headfirst into the industry and landed jobs at top design firms in Philadelphia. In a senior design position at an architectural firm in Bucks County, I was responsible for all aspects of design for commercial spaces, from office spaces to schools and medical facilities. I made material, furniture, and equipment selections, oversaw the bidding process, and project managed all of my client projects.

As a mom, family always comes first, and I took time off to be with my children while freelancing with architects. When my kids grew up, I started my own design firm by posting on Facebook, and the rest is history.
